Meet Our Staff
 Dr. Glenn Gilstrap: Pastor

A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Glenn graduated from Furman University in 1984 with an interdepartmental major in Computer Science and Business Administration.  After working for more than three years as a programmer/analyst for the cable television industry, he enrolled in Columbia Seminary, graduating in 1991.  Upon graduation, he spent six years as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Elberton, Georgia, before coming to Flint River Presbytery in 1997 to serve in Warner Robins.  He received his doctorate from Erskine Seminary in 1999.  Glenn is active in all aspects of church life, including singing in the choir.  He has also been very active in his community and in presbytery functions.

Glenn recently celebrated his twenty-sixth wedding anniversary with his lovely bride, Kathy, who is the daughter of Presbyterian minister Stan Sizemore. They both enjoy travel, reading, photography, and movies.  Kathy also engages in painting, quilting, and scrapbooking; while Glenn continues to search for enough room to set up his dream model railroad layout.

Kathy and Glenn have two grown sons:  Christopher is a Theater Arts Major from Georgia Southwestern State University, and Robert is a freshman at Georgia Southern University majoring in Music Education.

As a family, they look forward with gratitude to the next adventure God has in store for them.

Julianna Presley Julianna Presley: Office Administrator
Julianna is originally from Jones County and still trying to learn her way around Thomaston. She thinks of herself as a "general flunkie in charge of nothing" but is willing to try to do help anyone that she can. She loves to read and do crafts and has a huge pen collection but doesn't ever want to use them. She is definitely not the cook in her family and can barely boil water so as long as you never ask her to cook a meal we should all be good.
